How basketball has changed in Knoxville. If this Oak Ridge squad would have played in 07-08, 06-07, or 05-06 they would have finished close to last in district play. Knoxville basketball back then used to be really good. Some of the worst teams in the district back then would be some of the best now. It is weird how this happens. Oak Ridge’s tallest player is 6’3 maybe 6’4 and in 08 they had four starters over 6’4 one 6’6 and another was 6’8. This Oak Ridge team will do good in this surrounding area, but I dont think they will do very good once they branch out in the state. Goodluck to the wildcats.

The Cats are playing really good team ball. If they keep this up and continue to improve, they are state bound.

I hate I missed the game on the radio. By the score it looks like it was a great game. The Cats are playing well.
